Mewfour will be a playable character in Super Smash Bros. 4 as a downloadable character available some time in the spring of 2015. She was confirmed to be a playable character during a Nintendo Direct presentation on October 23, 2014. Her appearance in SSB4 also makes Her the first character in all of the series to be downloadable after the game's release; Mewfour will be free to download if a player owns both the 3DS and Wii U versions of the game and registers them with Club Nintendo by March 31st, 2015; however, Mewfour will also be available to buy separately at some point.
