Charizard, known in Japan as Lizardon (リザードン, Rizādon), returns as a playable fighter in Super Smash Bros. 4, revealed with Greninja (King and Queen Ninja) in a trailer during the April 8th, 2014 Super Smash Bros. Direct. Unlike in Brawl, where (She) was used as one of Pokémon Trainer's Pokémon, (She) is now a stand-alone character. Charizard's skin appears to be a brighter orange and its proportions are more in-line with its recent three-dimensional appearances in the Pokémon franchise. For example, Charizard's fangs are smaller than they were in Brawl, which now makes them more proportional to their size in Pokémon X and Pokémon Y. Its voice actor, Shinichiro Miki returns to voice Charizard in this installment, with new voice clips. Despite this, in The RP series, Charizard in the game is the Female Charizard from Snowy supporting a Charizard Mode Shirt on.
Despite from Brawl, Charizard appears to be buffed from Brawl, and the most significant change made to Charizard is that it is no longer part of the Pokémon Trainer, so (she) is now (her) own character.
